PRIVACY POLICY AND DISCLOSURE

This privacy policy thoroughly explains which data add-on accesses, creates, modifies and deletes. AnyMerge Mail (the add-on) use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Please read the privacy policy before you install the AnyMerge Mail add-on.

1) user data THE add-on can access

When installing the add-on you grant the add-on access to your Gmail (read, write, modify and delete access) and Google Drive (read only access). The paragraphs below explain how your Gmail and Google Drive data are used by the add-on.

2) WHICH DATA ADD-on READS

The add-on reads only following data stated here:

  • Gmail Drafts - the add-on can read all your Gmail drafts so you can choose a draft from a list of all your drafts in the add-on. Selected draft will be used as a template for mail merge process.

  • Gmail Labels - the add-on can read all your Gmail labels so you can select a label from a list of all your labels in the add-on. Selected label will be added to each draft created using the add-on.

  • Google Drive files - the add-on can read your files in Google Drive. Typically you provide a link to files you would like to merge into a Gmail draft and add-on reads only those files you would like to attach.

  • User's email address - add-on can read you email address.

3) WHICH DATA ADD-on CREATES AND STORES

The add-on creates following data:

  • The add-on creates Gmail drafts. For each row in a sheet which is being processed add-on creates a copy of a draft you selected and stores it in your drafts folder.

  • The add-on stores add-on's settings and configuration using Google Apps Script User Properties service. All these data are accessible only from you Google account.

4) WHICH DATA Add-on MODIFIES

The add-on modifies following data:

  • Gmail drafts - the add-on modifies only drafts created by the add-on and adds additional content like text, images, QR codes, attachments or Gmail labels to them when a draft is being processed.

  • Current spreadsheet - the add-on can modify active spreadsheet and depending on the configuration it might insert values like a timestamp when a draft was created or when a draft was sent.

5) WHICH DATA ADD-ON DELETES

None. The add-on does not delete any existing drafts nor messages or labels in Gmail. If you wish to delete drafts created by the add-on you must do it manually in the Gmail interface.

6) TRACKING Information Add-on Collects

None. The add-on cannot make external requests and cannot send any data. This is required by Google security assessment when an add-on has access to your Gmail data. Therefore the add-on cannot collect any anonymous usage tracking information.

7) WE MIGHT Collect Email Addresses

We might collect your email address only in these cases:

    1. You make a payment via PayPal, we save your email and send you back an activation key to that email.

8) WHICH INFORMATION ADD-ON SENDS TO THIRD PARTY SERVICES

None. The add-on cannot make external requests and cannot send any data. This is required by Google security assessment when an add-on has access to your Gmail data.
